I guess it just makes sense that in America’s capital for plastic surgery the naked human form would enjoy unhindered public display.

Just like Wall Street has its bronze Charging Bull statue to symbolize financial prosperity, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is marked by a large silver torso of a naked woman—complete with finely sculpted private parts—to welcome passersby to this high-fashion district loaded down in ultra-expensive clothing boutiques, shoes and jewelry stores, etc., not to mention see-and-be-seen restaurants such as Wolfgang Puck’s original Spago.

On the Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach south of Los Angeles is a large side-of-the-road bronze sculpture of a nude surfer on a wave.

Following this year’s Academy Awards, The Los Angeles Times carried the next morning on its front page a large color photo of winning actor Javier Bardem kissing the rear end of his nude Oscar statue.

When I first arrived in Southern California a few weeks ago, my friends from Escondido took me for a sunset-hour stroll on the beach in La Jolla. Upon reaching a certain crop of rocks, they informed, “On the other side is where people go nude.”

In today’s Times is a story about how Palm Springs—now considered the gayest city in America with at least half its 40,000-adult population classified as such—collects half-a-million in annual tax revenue from 11 “clothing optional” gay resorts in the Warm Sands neighborhood alone.

The article reports, “Warm Sands is an older neighborhood, a mix of vintage ranches and glassy contemporaries. There are cactuses and fruit trees, a health food shop, the oldest hardware store in town and—displayed prominently on one corner lot—a five-foot tall sculpture of a phallus.”

Probably the most telling thing I saw while in La La Land was inside the celebrity-ridden smoothie/ espresso/pastry place inside Fred Segal’s on Melrose. It was a prominently displayed, framed color photograph of a bronzed and blonde model in a Me-Tarzan-You-Jane-type bikini hanging from a cross.

The people eating lunch at the tables underneath it didn’t seem fazed in the least.

As part of Moses’ great summation in Deuteronomy on God’s hatred of Israel’s Baal worship, he commands, “Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee. Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.”

Pagan groves have to do with a phallic image and, according to Jordan, “are where you find some of the most vile and vicious sex perversion in regards to religion and worship of God of anything you’d ever want to dream was ever in the world; it’s lascivious religious practices and rites that are awful.”

Jordan goes on, “Baal worship in the Bible is sexual perversion and religion, and Freud was right about this to this extent. You see, Freud had the ability that any unsaved man had; that is to gather facts.

“The problem the unsaved man has is he can’t interpret the facts properly because he doesn’t have the proper frame of reference to operate on. But Freud indicated that religion—and he’s talking about the religious system, not salvation or the Bible—is based on sexual perversion and frustration.

“Because idolatry, with Baal worship in the Bible being the apex of that, is based in sexual perversion.”

In Revelation 2, a key passage regarding the upcoming tribulation, we are told fornication is committed in the worship of idols. It’s part of the people’s religious ceremony.

Specifically, Revelation 2: 20-21 informs, “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.”

Jordan explains, “Jezebel, in the Old Testament, introduced Baal worship into Israel through her husband King Ahab. She’s a religious preacher.

“God had said to Israel, ‘I hate that stuff and don’t you be associated with it—get away from it,’ and so Ahab makes the groves because they’re part of Baal worship.

“If you want to see the modern-day counterpart in the United States—just the vestiges of it—well, have you ever see anybody have in their front a little shrine and images with shrubbery behind it? It’s a carryover of this kind of stuff.”

From Joshua 6:26, we know Ahab was associated with the rebuilding of Jericho, a cursed city just like Babylon.

The verse reads, “And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.”

Jordan explains, “In other words, the dude’s gonna lose his kids when he goes to (Jericho) and that’s what happens. God curses that city and says don’t build it again and so they go out and build a cursed city—just like (future) Babylon is over in Revelation 17 and 18.

“So when the Apostle Paul’s talking in Romans 1:24 about the ‘dishonoring of their own bodies,’ he’s really talking about the fact that this stuff degenerates into a perversion of everything that God created man for, and one of the very first things God told man to do was to go out and reproduce and replenish the earth.

“So this thing goes down to the very corruption of the very purpose for which God put man on the earth and makes a debauchery out of it.

“To worship the creature is to be involved in satanic control. In Romans 1, man does this all on his own; he does this stuff all by himself.

“Satan doesn’t have to come in and attack him; man does all this by himself and goes hand-in-hand after Satan’s lie and Satan’s policy of evil.”
