Iron in the Bible is connected with satanic things. Revelation 9, which describes the degenerated forms of life that result from the degenerative powers of sin, says, “And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
[8] And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
[9] And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
[10] And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.”

Jordan says, “Passages like Revelation 9, well, that’s where all that ‘creative genius’ that’s in Star Trek and all comes from.

“Those people (in the creative arts field) don’t have any idea where they’re getting that stuff from; they just think they’re making it up, being smart. And the creative powers that they’re exercising are really satanically inspired.”

According to Jesus Christ, you can lose your soul but that doesn’t mean it ceases to function like a soul does.

Jordan says, “Your soul is a bodily shaped entity inside of your body. Your soul has hands, arms, legs, a mouth, eyes, all the rest of it, and your body is a house for your soul.

“And, folks, there is a situation involved in the ‘second death’ where there is a degenerative process that takes place in the souls of men and women, and they go back. . . the ‘lake of fire’ is going to be a big, teeming ball of red maggots loosed.”

David writes in Psalm 16:4, “Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.”

Jordan says, “Notice they have drink offerings where they’re drinking blood? Now, the Bible tells us the ‘life of the flesh is in the blood.’ So, if you were in the angelic world where you didn’t have blood and you wanted to take on human flesh, what would you need? You see all those movies about blood-sucking demons. Don’t they call that Dracula? You can destroy them with a wooden peg to the heart?”

Paul tells the Galatians they’ve had somebody bewitch them: “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?”

Jordan explains, “A witch is somebody who comes and communicates with evil spirits and tries to talk to dead people. Now, you know that’s not possible to do, except in I Samuel 8 it happened, and it scared the gal when it did.

“I mean, she knew she was a phony-baloney, but then it kind of scared her because God had a message for Saul. In I Sam. 28, she’s identified as the witch of Endor. Verse 7 says, ‘Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.’

“Saul commanded her to, ‘Bring me up Samuel.’ Now, I think about that and I’m rolling on the ground like a barrel of monkeys by the time I get there. Here’s Saul, he goes to this witch, but doesn’t want her to know who he is so he disguises himself.

“If she can talk to dead people, don’t you think she could see through a disguise?! Duh! If you’ve got supernatural powers to be able to see through things into another world, surely you can see through a guy putting on a Groucho Marx mask and coming in!

“You have to suspend credulity to believe this kind of stuff, but Saul wanted it so bad he was willing to believe it. That’s how these people fake it with you. You go to these healing meetings—you go down to a Benny Hinn service, or a Morris Cerullo meeting, or one by Oral Roberts or John Hagee. . .the reason that (Peter) Popoff guy could convince people he had a ‘word of knowledge,’ and could read minds, is because everybody went along with it! It took some old, lost, hell-bound magician to go in and catch him with the receiver in his ear!”

“Paul says to the Galatians, ‘Be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.’ Notice the word ‘again’? The Galatians were heathen before they got saved but they were still under legalism.

“You see, legalism doesn’t just have to be the ‘times past’ program that God gave Israel. Any performance-based operating system is the same issue. Now, the best performance-based system that was ever given God gave to Israel because it demonstrated His mind and His performance. The Galatians had a pagan system.

“That’s why, and I say this to you constantly, going back under the ‘times past’ program is going back to a heathen-based program, not because the Jew’s religion, or what God gave Moses, was pagan, but because it’s the same (legalism). And since God isn’t operating the Old Testament (law) system today, what’s really operating is the counterfeit of it.”

Paul testifies to the Galatians, “Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.”

Jordan says, “Notice how he says, ‘I Paul say unto you’? Peter would not have said this about circumcision. The twelve apostles did not preach this. They preached that it was profitable to be circumcised, did they not?

“They only later learned from Paul that now it’s not profitable. You look down to verse 6 and it says, ‘For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.’ That’s where we are today!

“You can’t make heads or tails out of that verse if you don’t ‘rightly divide’ the word, because for almost all of the Bible, prior to the book of Romans, that verse wasn’t true! In Genesis 17, God told Abraham that if a person was not circumcised he was to be cut off from the Covenant.

“In Exodus 4, Moses’ kids aren’t circumcised and God almost killed Moses for having two uncircumcised boys. In Joshua 5, when Joshua’s taken the generation of the nation that was born in the wilderness, and hadn’t died, into the Promised Land, it says they were all uncircumcised and he had to circumcise all of them before they went in or God would kill them! It made a difference then, but now it doesn’t.”

In times past, God erected a middle wall of partition between Israel—Abraham and his seed—and the Gentile nations (Editor’s Note: The word “nations” in the Bible is always a reference to the Gentiles) through circumcision.

Then when Moses’ law came around, God fortified the wall by putting in place laws, statutes and judgments to make Israel a distinct, separate people.

Jordan says, “All this time God’s building this wall around His nation to separate them from everybody else and make it clear that they were different.

“All the dietary laws that He gave back in Leviticus and Deuteronomy, He didn’t give them those for their health benefits. Eating catfish won’t make you sick. People say, ‘Eat like under the Mosaic Law and you’ll be healthy.’ No, He didn’t give them those rules back there to make them healthy. He gave them those rules to make them different; to make them distinct; to make them stand out as oddballs among the nations. To be a peculiar people—people who obviously belonged to God and not to the appetites of the world out there.

“He told them the kind of clothes they could wear, not because He has something against Dacron and Rayon, or there’s something wrong with putting wool and cotton together—either something morally, or something that’s going to scratch or something. He said, ‘You can’t have a garment that’s got two different kinds of material in it.’ Why? To make impenetrable this distinction between them and everyone else.”

Jordan continues, “Now, this middle wall of partition is not broken down until you come to Paul’s ministry. Do you understand that’s why he says, “I Paul say this’?

“If your Christian life, and its experience on a daily basis, is going to be profitable in your life—if Christ living in you is going to get involved in the experience of your daily life—it will get into your experience because you follow what Paul says. You see that?

“Paul says, ‘For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.’ You can’t pick one piece and not all of it. And the problem with following the law is you don’t do it. That’s why Paul tells the Galatians, ‘Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.’

“You see in Galatians 5:2 where he says, ‘Christ shall profit you nothing’? He’s talking to saved people—they’re in Christ—but there’s no profit in their daily walk. There’s NO effect in their life.

“It’s possible, my friend, to live in the Spirit but not walk in the Spirit, and that’s the whole issue of these last two chapters. Paul says, ‘If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.’

“You see, inventing rules and regulations to try and further holiness, or to try to cultivate holiness in your life, or to protect righteousness in your life, is counter-productive.

“Those laws, those rules, those regulations that you try to keep so well so God’ll be happy with you, you know what they really do? They displace the grace of God. They displace the fact God already ‘accepts you in the beloved’ and has ‘made you complete in Christ,’ and they get your mind on the wrong thing.

“They put the Evil Eye on you so that your eye doesn’t really see; the eye of your understanding doesn’t grasp the truth of who you are in Christ and the victory that God gives you in Christ.

“Following the law will temporarily ruin the Believer’s walk with the Lord. Entanglement with a performance-based program will destroy your ability to experience victory in the details of your life.”
