People are like broken records. You talk to them in explicit detail about the plain truths of the Bible that prove its Divine origin and they simply respond, ÒWell, what about Mohammed and the Koran?Ó

You talk to them about the meaning of being a true Christian, believing in the King James Bible and not a bunch of man-made denominational systems or guru-led movements, and they say, ÒWell, what about Pat Robertson?Ó

What about Pat Robertson?! Is that what you plan to argue to God during your one-on-one at the White Throne Judgment?

I know a very active Christian here in New York (she has a Christian newspaper column and runs a large Christian singles group) who takes absolute offense to me telling her Billy Graham is an apostate teacher (To read my article detailing this, click on ÒBack IssuesÓ and scroll down to ÒGraham Cracks,Ó dated July 1, 2005).

She wonÕt even hear what I have against him. ItÕs just, ÒNo, I wonÕt stand for you bad-mouthing the man IÕve admired and adored all these years and whoÕs taught me so much.Ó

This woman wonÕt even look at what the Apostle Paul teaches if it in any way contradicts what Graham preaches. Graham wins hands-down.

I heard it said once, ÒItÕs the truth that liberates you, not you wanting to be free.Ó

HereÕs a sobering passage I came across recently when listening to an old sermon of my pastorÕs (Richard Jordan, Shorewood Bible Church, Rolling Meadows, Ill., at www.graceimpact.org ) on cassette tape:

Paul says in Col. 1:23, ÒIf ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister.Ó

That passage is a reference to the fact that youÕre going to face the Judgment Seat of Christ one day and, folks, the position youÕll occupy out there in the heavenly positions of rank and authority depends on the way the Lord Jesus Christ presents you to God the Father after the Rapture.

We go out at the Rapture—the day of Redemption—go from there to the Judgment Seat of Christ, where our lives and our service are reviewed and the rewards are given out.

ItÕs where our capacity for service is clearly identified. Paul says God Òshall try every man's work of what sort it is.Ó

That means, ÒWhatÕs the quality; whatÕs the capacity of soul service you have?Ó Christ takes His Body up into the third heaven and presents us before God the Father and itÕs there that our position of service in the Òages to comeÓ is assigned to each of us by the Father on behalf of the Son.

And my dear friend, that commissioning service and those orders—those things are all based upon the capacity that we have now! ThatÕs why itÕs so important to Òrightly divideÓ the Word. (II Tim. 2:15)

You see if you build into your ministry and into your life now Kingdom principles—principles that are to be in operation in the future Kingdom reign of Christ on the earth—when you get out there in heaven where are you going to be able to serve? ItÕs going to be a problem, isnÕt it?

ItÕs a capacity issue. ThereÕs principalities and powers and dominions—the heavenly ranks—and then thereÕs Òevery name thatÕs named.Ó

Somebody says, ÒBoy, if IÕm down there I wonÕt be happy looking up at the guy with a better position.Ó There wonÕt be any of that. When you serve up to your full capacity, arenÕt you happy? Everybody has different capacities—youÕll serve to the fullest of your capacity and youÕll be eternally happy and blissful. It will be a wonderful day.

My friend, there are lots of jobs out there in eternity. IÕve described heaven to people in a lot of different ways. You know, for example, there are horses out there. You know where you keep horses? Now IÕm not saying itÕs that way, but IÕm saying there are horses, and I get to thinking about it, and you know what you have to have when you got horses, right?

You got to have a place to keep them and, brother, if youÕve got a place to keep them, you know who you got to have around? SomebodyÕs got to have a shovel and a wheelbarrow.

All IÕm saying is there are all kinds of jobs out there and we now, as members of the Body of Christ, need to be ever so careful. We say, ÒLord, we want you to be honored and glorified, and all of our part in that might be evil spoken of here, but when the Spirit of grace and glory is upon us, in that day His honor will be there.Ó
