ÒSatan, the god of this
world, manipulates nations, rulers and finances. Through the news media, TV,
schools, apostate churches, and the money situation, he is grooming and
conditioning the world to welcome his masterpiece of deception, the Antichrist.
Most of the world today is totally unsuspecting of this mind control and
financial maneuvering.Ó

Brown in her 1972 booklet, ÒThe
Dispensations and Israel, Dispensationally Considered (An Enigma Solved, A
Puzzle Unraveled)Ó
If you want to see how the
Antichrist system is being marketed to children, just look at what Borders
Books stocks on its ÒkidsÓ shelves.
The other day I walked inside
the Borders at Park and 57th St. and immediately noticed a display rack
labeled ÒkidsÓ next to the front door. Each shelf was dominated by
Harry-Potteresque fare. Words in book titles and on jacket covers included
Òdemons,Ó Òdragon,Ó Òmagician,Ó Òamulet,Ó ÒwitchÓ and Òdiabolical.Ó
At another prominent display downstairs,
labeled ÒSummer School Reading List,Ó was a highly recommended book called,
ÒThe Giver,Ó by Lois Lowry. The book boasts top honors from educators,
including, ÒA School Library Journal Best Book of the YearÓ; ÒAn ALA Notable
Book for Children,Ó and ÒA Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Book.Ó
The plot summary on the back
cover reads: ÒWhen Jonas turns twelve, he is singled out to receive special
training from The Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of true pain and
pleasure of life. Now itÕs time for Jonas to receive the truth. There is no
turning back.Ó
Notice how the name Jonas shares similarities with the name Jesus? Also, just
like C.S. LewisÕ Narnia character, Aslan, is a near-anagram for Satan, Jonas has three letters in common with
Satan (EditorÕs Note: If you think IÕm taking this too far, think Santa
Claus and read my piece named, ÒFaux, Faux, Faux!,Ó dated Jan. 4, 2006).
Inside the jacket cover is
this highlighted passage from the story: Ò ÔJonas,Õ she said, speaking not to
him alone but to the entire community of which he was a part, ÔYou will be
trained to be our next Receiver of Memory. We thank you for your childhood.Õ
ÒThen she turned and left the
stage, left him there alone, standing and facing the crowd, which began
spontaneously the collective murmur of his name. ÔJonas.Õ It was a whisper at
first: hushed, barely audible. ÔJonas, Jonas.Õ
ÒThen louder, faster. ÔJONAS,
JONAS, JONAS.Õ With the chant, Jonas knew, the community was accepting him and
his new role, giving him life, the way they had given it to the newchild Caleb.
His heart swelled with gratitude and pride.
ÒBut at the same time he was
filled with fear. He did not know what his selection meant. He did not know
what he was to become.
ÒOr what would become of
him.Ó
Another ÒkidsÓ book on
display, ÒLeven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo,Ó gives this glossary definition
of its main character, listed as ÒLeven (aka ÔLevÕ)Ó: ÒLeven is 14 years old
and is the grandson of Hector Thumps, the builder of the Gateway. Lev
originally knows nothing of Foo or of his heritage. He eventually discovers he
is an offing who can see and manipulate the future. LevÕs brown eyes turn gold
whenever his gift kicks in.Ó
As we know from the Old
Testament, Satan is Òleviathan the
piercing serpent, even leviathan
that crooked serpentÓ (Isa.27:1). In the Gospels, Jesus Christ makes reference
to the Ògates of hellÓ (Matt.
16:18).
On the bottom shelf of
Borders ÒkidsÓ rack is the large paperback edition of LewisÕ ÒChronicles of
Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.Ó Obviously it continues to be a
huge seller.
While church groups get together
to study this book they revere as some sort of wholesome allegorical story in
which the heroic lion is a ÒChrist-figure,Ó itÕs obviously a dark tale steeped
in the Occult. If you ask me, itÕd be more suitable to see Aslan as an allegory for the Antichrist.
In II Thess. 2:9, when PaulÕs
describing the Antichrist, he says, Òwhose coming is after the working of Satan
with all power and signs and lying wonders.Ó The Antichrist is referred to as a
Òroaring lionÓ in I Peter 5:8.
We know from LewisÕ Narnia
myth that Aslan is resurrected from the dead.
An old study I have on tape about
the Antichrist, delivered by a preacher in Tennessee who recently died, Darryl
Mefford, makes the point, ÒJust like Jesus Christ died and was resurrected, the
Antichrist is going to be killed, and he's going to receive a deadly wound by a
sword, and he's going to live. It's going to look like he was resurrected;
like he was raised again. But itÕs all a deception. It's all a trick.
ÒRev. 13 says, ÔAnd he
exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth
and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was
healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from
heaven on the earth in the sight of men.Õ
ÒSo this is the means by
which the Antichrist is going to deceive.Ó
In his new book, ÒThe
Apostasy of the Christian Church,Ó author R. Dawson Barlow informs that a baby
lion is a picture of Satan.
Ò(Satan) is also called Ôa
roaring lion seeking whom he may devour,ÕÓ writes Barlow. ÒThe roaring lions, I
have been told, are the old harmless lions (i.e. as harmless as a ÔbabyÕ lion),
that roar and fuss so loudly they scare their prey into the clutches of the
younger, more powerful and dangerous lions stalking nearby.Ó
